How to Recruit Manpower from Nepal?
All the interested Foreign Employers have to recruit through the licensed Agencies registered under the Department of Labour, His Majesty’s Government of Nepal. On receipt of any authenticated vacancy demand from the Overseas Employer, we apply to the Director General of Labour Department for the recruitment permission. Labour Department is the principal Government authority, which supervises and monitors the recruitment process of the Recruitment Agencies and provides permission to export the Manpower. The Labour Department requires the following documents for the recruitment permission:
- Demand Letter issued by the Foreign Employer in favor of the Recruiting Agency to act on his behalf (must be sealed & signed by the Chamber of Commerce).
- Power of Attorney from the Employer containing details of the vacancies (must be sealed & signed by the Chamber of Commerce).
- A copy of the Employment Contract and Service Agreement.
Authentication of the Documents.
“Demand Letter, Power of Attorney and Service Contract” should be authenticated from the Chamber of Commerce, Labour Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also the Royal Nepalese Embassy. Please see the Specimen of these documents in Specimen section.
Selection Procedures.
We have fully computerized system databank which we keep updating; and as per the Employers requirement detail, we select the candidates by the following steps:
- The advertisement will be placed in the daily national newspaper if requirement of the categories are high so to get the more and qualified candidates.
- We collect the bio-datas, screen, sort out the applications and conduct the preliminary interview and or test for the short-listed applicants.
- We have the most conveniently situated place for the Trade Test Center for any Categories of workers. We provide the complete administrative and secretarial support during the interview and or trade-test conducted by the Clients/Delegates.
- The selected candidates being sent for medical check-up by the Panel Doctors.
